Update 11/14/2023:Changed from 2 stars to 5. Whatever they had to do to make changes happen worked. Staff has always been incredibly friendly, and the wait times have significantly improved.--Friendly but slow. Both university and 6th Ave are super slow. Order ahead, order is ready, but still have to wait 30+ minutes just to pick up and to pay. There were 2 people ahead of me already waiting.

She told me how to order online and pick-up or to have my product delivered to me. I learned all about what was on sale, too.Brie was in the back and super excited when I told her I was a newbie. She was extremely knowledgeable about EVERYTHING I asked. She knows her stuff! My first visit was 60% off. So I left with an assortment of products to try. Both girls have excellent customer service skills and both were knowledgeable.

Friendly staff, but poor Customer Service from Trulieve.I purchased "10" 3.5g flower. When I got home, I noticed one of the containers was empty.So I called Trulieve and I was told.. "Oh don't worry, we'll make it right for you"... they placed an order to be delivered, but then a few days later it was cancelled.I called them and they re-ordered and was told someone was going to contact me for the delivery date. That 2nd order was ALSO cancelled.Called them again and was told this time that they didn't have any delivery personnel at this time and It was cancelled until they could find a way to get it delivered.I will NEVER use them again!

Update: 3 Months after my first review. My take on the staff stands, though. They are a cut above others I have met. The nightmare of this store is not its people. Even with a booking my pickup time online, I was placed behind 6 other people as we were informed there was, yet again, only one person working. This is not uncommon. All the proffered water in the world does not take away the frustration of their wait times. The system for making reservations is a prop designed to instill a sense of control over your appointment. If you have nothing to do and can happily wait for an hour or two, this location is wonderful.-----Wonderful people, terribly structured website. One would think their ostensibly upgraded site would provide time sensitive data linked to current inventory. Sadly, no. The biggest provider in the country cannot keep available-stock numbers up to date so as to avoid wasting time and effort on the part of those of us with terminal conditions who walk there under the impression items are available, having gotten the confirmation my order passed both REC and inventory control. If less established places like GH can have stock take numbers on hand before you purchase, why on Earth can Trulieve not provide the same service? The coding is rather easy, actually. Using a hackneyed copout like, "May not reflect local availability" is absurd. Filtering a database by location is something most third graders can do. A company cannot claim to care for its patients while offering inaccurate information to them. Shameful.Staff, however: Exceptional service from folks who genuinely care about their customers. The staff at this place defies any expectations one could have. They take the time to get to know you, your needs, and what works best for you. They show kindness and compassion while being professional and madly knowledgeable about their products. There are too many staff members to name, as they are all stellar.

Alli was the best dispenser I’ve ever had in all my trulieve experiences, there are many. Walker and I love you. The last time we were in the Gainesville trulieve a few months ago, I heard that the employees split tips with the manager. I hope that is not happening anymore. Always get good service and great products at this location. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I see James H. almost every time I go in there and he always steers me towards the best concentrates in stock and suggest new strains I haven’t tried. I have yet to be disappointed by any of his suggestions. I don’t have a problem with the other locations in Gainesville but my experience at College Park is always better. I will actually go out of my way to go to this location because of the positive experiences I’ve had there.

I had a pick up order and it was fast and friendly service. Street parking in front of store was not blocked off with orange barrels as pictured on Google photos, thankfully. Inside there is an elevator or two story stair walk up. Reception is open and spacious. I was offered refrigerated bottled water from a mini-fridge in reception which I happened to be needing. I changed my mind about a part of order before paying and it was no problem to exchange for something else which I did. Was also offered a return if desired. In all a great experience! It's summer and students are gone, otherwise I'd be scared to get in and out of my car and anxious about parking.

I have to brag on Darnell and Molly who work at this Trulieve! Darnell is there almost every Wednesday night when I go and always takes good care of me. And by that I mean when I ask him a billion questions he politely answers them and lets me take my time choosing what I want. Trulieve is vertically integrated, as are all of the Florida cannabis brands. Being vertically integrated means they oversee the entire process from seed to sale. Trulieve dispensary products are grown from their own cannabis plants from seed or cuttings, harvested, and processed into a variety of products. Then packages and distributed within their own network.
Product types, different strains and availability can vary from store menu to store menu, depending on demand. If Trulieve in Gainesville does not have what you are looking for, your Florida MedCard is universally accepted at any dispensary in the state.
Purchasing Marijuana Products at Trulieve
Upon arrival at this dispensary, you’ll enter a designated waiting area before going into the retail area with staff. The dispensary staff work with you to explain all of the cannabis products available. Budtenders may make recommendations that are based on your doctor’s recommendation.
If it’s your first visit, you’ll be required to complete intake forms. This lets the dispensary staff confirm your patient status and see what you were allotted by your medical marijuana doctor.

The best way to see the different product options before visiting the dispensary is to check out their online menu. If enabled, Trulieve in Gainesville online menu may be available on FL Dispensaries to reserve your order.
If you have an active medical card, you can pick from a wide array of cannabis products. Various delivery methods of the different cannabinoids have been approved by the DOH, including edibles, inhalation, oral, sublingual, topical, traditional flower and even suppositories. One would think their ostensibly upgraded site would provide time sensitive data linked to current inventory. Sadly, no. The biggest provider in the country cannot keep available-stock numbers up to date so as to avoid wasting time and effort on the part of those of us with terminal conditions who walk there under the impression items are available, having gotten the confirmation my order passed both REC and inventory control. If less established places like GH can have stock take numbers on hand before you purchase, why on Earth can Trulieve not provide the same service? The coding is rather easy, actually. Using a hackneyed copout like, "May not reflect local availability" is absurd. Filtering a database by location is something most third graders can do. A company cannot claim to care for its patients while offering inaccurate information to them. Shameful.Staff, however: Exceptional service from folks who genuinely care about their customers. The staff at this place defies any expectations one could have. They take the time to get to know you, your needs, and what works best for you. Alli was the best dispenser I’ve ever had in all my trulieve experiences, there are many. Walker and I love you. The last time we were in the Gainesville trulieve a few months ago, I heard that the employees split tips with the manager. I hope that is not happening anymore. The manger was checking people in but she was doing all the work in the back, by herself. I hope that has been addressed. Thanks for the awesome memorable experience Alli!

Always get good service and great products at this location. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I see James H. almost every time I go in there and he always steers me towards the best concentrates in stock and suggest new strains I haven’t tried. I have yet to be disappointed by any of his suggestions. I don’t have a problem with the other locations in Gainesville but my experience at College Park is always better. I will actually go out of my way to go to this location because of the positive experiences I’ve had there.

I had a pick up order and it was fast and friendly service. Street parking in front of store was not blocked off with orange barrels as pictured on Google photos, thankfully. Inside there is an elevator or two story stair walk up. Reception is open and spacious. I was offered refrigerated bottled water from a mini-fridge in reception which I happened to be needing. I changed my mind about a part of order before paying and it was no problem to exchange for something else which I did. Was also offered a return if desired. In all a great experience! It's summer and students are gone, otherwise I'd be scared to get in and out of my car and anxious about parking.

I have to brag on Darnell and Molly who work at this Trulieve! Darnell is there almost every Wednesday night when I go and always takes good care of me. And by that I mean when I ask him a billion questions he politely answers them and lets me take my time choosing what I want. And Molly was awesome on 4/20 when I started a panic attack I'm the middle of the store. They have my loyalty for sure.

I am not experienced with cannabis and recently started using it for my insomnia and back pain. Staff at Trulieve College Park take their time and explain EVERYTHING instead of rushing me like at other dispensaries. Staff here does not assume everyone knows all. This place is awesome. The staff here is friendly, and super knowledgeable. The place is super clean, and there is a ton of room inside. Very comfortable atmosphere. Parking is tricky because of the location, but the experience is worth any hassle. 10/10 would recommend.
