The people at this store are very friendly even when there are only 2 minutes left before closing, and Shaneka is very professional and kind, helping with your problems! I tried returning a chocolate at another store and couldn't, but Shaneka was able to help me very kindly.😌
This place needs to count their days! If I could give no stars I would. The mangers are horrible the area manager is horrible. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. They charged me on their card reader and took money out of my account and said it declined. I let the manager at the time a women know it completed as an atm withdraw but she said it was declined. I watched the money leave my account and she told me no it declined. Made me pay another $45 and try the atm. The other Male manager came in to be more stern about telling me what she already told me. They told me I would have my money back in my money back into my account Tuesday. I called customer support after who stated she sent the area manager an email. I was never followed up with from Saturday and it’s Tuesday. I called in again and they said it was all notated and a ticket was placed for me to receive e credit but I would need to go in to the store and I begged them to not make me go back however I was told this was the only way. I get to the store for yet again another piss poor experience with a higher up manager who came out to me with the rudest attitude and receipts stating I am wrong and she will do nothing for me. I showed her my bank account with the 2 charges I showed the receipts I had and she wasted my time and was rude. I asked her even though I did what they notated I would not be getting my money back.. she told me no call my bank. Which I told her I did call and they told me IT WAS AN ATM TRANSACTION AND WAS COMPLETED. I called customer support again and spoke with a member of leadership who told me this was an on going issue with the card readers that they were experiencing I was one of many. She called the store and no one answered even though I was right there and they were not all busy. Care told me the someone would follow up so we will see. This is horrible bed side manor every time I go they talk inappropriately about their lives to one another it’s just a joke. I would rather pay more and travel to another dispensary. So down hill so fast you would think the staff would care but more importantly the MANAGEMENT
Idk how some of these other reviews are used to being treated at stores, but I've never had a bad experience here. Maybe nobody else reviewing here was yelled at as a kid lol *sensitive* Everyone's always friendly, I usually do an online express order, the only time I've had to wait more than 10 minutes is when there were 2 other express orders. We usually end up conversing over the different products and stuff while my order is being rang up. Maybe I'm going at the right times or something, I usually go in the afternoon or closer to closing time. Last time there were about 10 customers in the store, I waited maybe 10 mins tops. I mean seriously though, you guys get to go to a store and legally buy marijuana, even if the employee is having a bad day, would you rather go back to the "old system"? Thanks trulieve, you guys haven't let me down!
Yall need to get rid of express all together because you're not using it correctly. It's literally pointless. It's no different from pick-up.There have been multiple occasions where I was waiting in express (whether it be 1st or 5th spot) yet walk-ins and pick-ups get taken care of before me. I can see maybe 1 of the people already waiting going ahead, but people that show up after me?In all other venues, express is meant to be faster and cut the line, so if you can't properly utilize the concept, why even have it as an option?Get rid of it, and you'll have less complaints (maybe).The Staff is friendly and cool, it's just the queue that's bad.
This place is a joke. Past 2 times a came here. Only to wait last and this time second to last. Even though I put in an express pick up. Didn’t get called till I finally complained. Only to be called back by a very rude gentleman. Telling me “What?” Saying it was my fault anyways since I got there at 8:30. But the time was 8:20. And I had already been waiting there for about 30 minutes. But it’s still irrelevant. I was the only person on express pick up since walking in. To be skipped by several walk-ins. When I mentioned that. He told me that they couldn’t find my order. Which obviously was a blatant lie. I was the “only” person on express pick up. So there could’ve only been one bag waiting. Plus I saw the same gentleman who “couldn’t find my order”. Just chilling in the back. Smelling product with other customers. Even though they already had an employee helping them. To me it seems that someone half did there job. And when they get called out on it. The response is both rude and unprofessional. Funny how I never have any problem in any other location but this one. Needles to say I will never come back to this location again. I’d rather drive a few miles more and go to a different dispensary. It’s not like I can be treated any poorly. 🤷🏽♂️
First time shopper. I thought it was a little expensive. I usually shop at another new dispensary in the area and I prefer there but the quality of what I purchased was great it was just maybe 20% more than what I'm used to spending.
I usually shop at this Riverview location but the Brandon and Apollo Beach locations are both very good , also. Nice selection of flowers and vape. Check their website for what they have in stock or to save time by pre ordering before you go in. Knowledgeable staff who can answer questions or give opinions. Since I smoke just before bed to help my RLS I stick with India vapes, sometimes to the flower but prefer vape. Prices are very good and they usually have a sale going on.
First time patient, first purchase. The guy wasn’t super helpful, products weren’t very diverse. He sold me a cart without the battery or asking if I had one. Thought it all came together? Like I said, I am new and have no idea what I’m doing. Place was hella busy and understaffed. I felt rushed and no one really took the time to explain anything or let me ask questions. At least he said I can make a return if I don’t like something.

Cool employees, but very slow. There have been several times I’ve been in and had to wait more than 20 mins to pick up an online order they said was ready. Never more than 5 people when I go in and they still mosey around and chat like no customers are in the lobby.
I don’t know who’s responsible in hiring but this is a dispensary not a lounge place. I had an express order had to wait until the girls where done chit chatting in the back gossiping the topic was not dispensary related I don’t find it fair that I have to be shoved to the side because thing 1 thing 2 and thing 3 are talking about how on of their friends boyfriend is a cheater. Unprofessional I asked the guy with the gages what was the name of the manager, the said it was some black Jamaican lady with dreads and always wears a mask, I’m a store manager for t-mobile and I find is tasteless to refer a manager as such. I asked the guy who was “taking care of me” if the manager allows this and so he presumed to give me a nasty attitude and call me a weirdo. Everyone working at 8:10 01/04/24 was being nasty, disrespectful, unprofessional and inconsiderate of the people waiting to be dispensed.
The staff are great and friendly. But you really need to hire more employees or find a better pickup system. The wait is extremely long for just picking up items where I already chose online.
The lady at the register was very nice and had a great customer service attitude, despite what was not the most welcoming reception from me. She earned all of these stars.The gentleman in the front room lost my place in line and I waited as everyone got called before being asked what my name was. I waited an extra 15minutes I’d guess.
Not sure what the negative reviews are about. I was in and out in 15 minutes with the online express order. They were super nice and patient. I hadn’t used my debit card in forever and forgot my pin and they were very patient with me.
This location is awful from the service to the wait time. Not sure what the point of an express order is if you still have to wait 30 min. From the front desk to the pickup line, the entire service experience is terrible. #curaleaf doesn’t have these problems. Never doing business with this company again.

Melania the manager is rude. I’ve been coming here for years and have seen several managers but this one is the worst. Ever since she started the place always seems short staffed and people look unhappy. It’s clear the store is being run poorly. That’s also why it seems busy and takes forever. Also.. the 5 star reviews are basically paid reviews where people get kickbacks. Against Google TOS and unethical.
This place is the slowest Trulieve in the area by far. Just checking in will take like 10 min a person. Always a line. Always a wait of 20 min or more on pickup orders. The “express” service is even slower at times. Be prepared to wait 30 min to 1 hour. Even if the place is empty.
Wow this place is busy. If you dont have to go here pick another spot. They only had 2 employees working with a overflowing waiting room. The employee told me they started to cut hours so this location might not be here for long if thats the case. Also I didnt get 1 veteran discount like I used to the employee told me that most things dont have it anymore. Very disappointing andbwill be going to SunnySide from now on.
Fast friendly service. Only allowed 1 guest . Good prices. They accept debit, credit and cash. I recommend cash as my card kept declining for some reason but I used the ATM and got cash immediately.
I rate on the day. Some days it is definitely 5 stars. Today however not so much. I did online check-in and it said 7 minutes. I went in and sat down right in front of the monitor. Watching my name. The person's name in front of mine. They had called several times. I was waiting for my name and then all the sudden mine was gone but the person ahead was still next on que. Before I realized that, I told the receptionist my name disappeared but I was never called. He went to the back to see. That's when I realized so what had happened. I told him when he came back and apparently they have new people. But I waited over an hour not just because of this incident but also the express line kept increasing and it left me waiting. 8 names were added after I sat down and they were all seen before myself and the 2 people ahead in line.
The worst store ever! You will always wait 15 to 20 minutes for your order even if it's placed ahead of time. I would never advise anyone to use this location. They don't seem to know how to do anything different even when multiple complaints come in about the same issue. We sure will get an apology response from the manager quickly, but nothing is done.
I have been coming to this dispensary Since the day they opened. I have always felt welcome and the staff has been great. This visit was not a good experience. First of all, the young lady at the express counter has always been very nice. She's made great recommendations and was nothing but professional. Where this visit goes wrong is when? Meloiniea the so called Manager made me very uncomfortable. Had received a coupon from a email. It was very clear on Is what it applied to. She very quickly said no And try to leave the room I asked her please stop so I had to pull out my phone to show her what it was, she said. Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about something else. So she didn't even take the time to see what discount I was asking for she just very quickly said no.and then gave me the discount on that particular item. I have been using my points here since I've started the day they opened the doors. She said I could not apply any of my points and was very dismissive and rude. I have gladly spend a lot of money at this store because of the customer service experience that I get. Meloiniea was rude, I have not seen her in the store before and like I Said I live right around the corner. I asked her because she got the first discount wrong and very quickly dismissed me I was curious on how long she worked there. She would not answer And appear to be getting more irritated at me. Because she got my first discount wrong. I wanted to Make sure it was correct that I was not able to use my points which I had been doing on the same products every Is time i've came in Since the day they opened. I ask her if any policies had changed she said no. Even though she was wearing a mask and there was 2 inches of glass in front of us. I could tell by her forehead she was very annoyed with me by asking the questions. unfortunately I have PTSD. I felt so uncomfortable in the express check out that I literally started to shake. My voice started to tremble and I started to have an anxiety attack. Keep in mind I do MMA. So I'm not easily shaken up anymore. I literally Walked out the store shaking In a panic attack which I should not have to experience going into the place That's supposed to be helping me treat it. I have not experienced that horrible feeling in a very long time. I will not be coming back to the store anymore. Or even using the dispensary anymore i'm going to look for different dispensaries. If any management besides Meloiniea that Would like to contact me. I will be more than happy to talk to them about my horrible experience.. You guys have all my information with my phone number. I would ask that somebody from corporate please give me a call. Thank you. Or let me know what number I need to reach out to in or order to file a formal complaint.
They have good deals, some times.. but my goodness the wait. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don’t know what’s going on here but they need to change their process. It shouldn’t take 35 mins to an hour to pick up an order. It’s ridiculous to say the least. Really don’t think I’ll be back.
The deals are okay, but I've never been here and had a quick transaction. I know Trulieve is already slower than every other dispensary for some reason, but this location is by far the worst one in Hillsborough and Pinellas. I'd suggest avoiding this location unless it's your last resort.
On multiple occasions have had issues with this store. Drove 30 minutes to get flower and they said they can’t do anything because they have 2 people working on a Saturday 1 and 2 that the systems were down. There should be a manual implementation in effect for this issues. Also workers should not be telling people they can’t help them and making them return home empty handed. A pharmacy would not do that. To add to it the prices are higher than majority of other suppliers, the thc content is LOW and buds usually extra crispy. I have decided I will take my money elsewhere since the unusual times I need the supply, they can’t or won’t fulfill. Will continue taking my business to sunburn cannabis in st Pete as I recommend to anyone else who sees this. KK was good but not $53 good
The wait time is my biggest complaint. I order online and check-in also online once my order is ready. Online system shows 5 min wait time for express check-out, but when I arrive I'm told the wait time is 20-25 mins and there's only 5-6 people waiting. I asked why the difference in times and was told it's always that way. Why? Both systems should be more accurate than a 15-20 min longer wait after you've done an online check in.Love the products and the staff is very friendly and accommodating and I wouldn't stop patronizing Trulieve, but I will not be able to run in and pick up items when I don't have extra time to wait.Please make the online system match the in store time closer. It's not just me, it's an issue with everyone I spoke with while I was waiting.
I used to come here a lot but recently stop since I’ve been dealing with things at home. Came to pick up me medicine since I feel my anxiety kicking in. The new girl they have in the front Kristine, Christina something like that was on a huge power trip saying they wouldn’t have time to take me since there was a few people waiting and denied me to pick up. I’m not a grocery store costumer, I’m a patient who needs my proscribed medicine. This is a medical center yet some employees treat it like it’s some VIP trap house. Used to love the service here everyone is always so nice but it looks like that went down as of a few weeks ago. Beyond disappointed. Service is a 0 star if I could.
The pick up process is horrible, if you don’t have an online and that is not confirmed ready to be picked up, save yourself the time and go to another dispensary. You will sit here for 30-45 minutes every time, not sure what the hold up is when plenty of other dispensaries get you in and out and have much better flower at the same price.
I wish I could give them 5 stars because they are excellent at costumer service and i truly enjoy their products, but the wait time is ridiculous. From all the dispensaries in the area this is the only place I have to wait close to an hour. An ex employee said they are cutting hours down and staff, but they are always busy! I’m truly hoping they can get the wait time under control.
This place is horrible when it comes to waiting. You get a text saying your order is "ready for pickup", then wait over an hour in store. Location is the only thing that brought me into the store a second time. (along with hopes that it may have improved from my prior visit). This place stresses me out more than it helps.

My favorite dispensary around. Love their deals. The staff is always amazing and I mean AMAZING!!! Haven’t had issues with products.I wish they had more staff for how busy they are so online orders could be filled faster for express pick up but they do an amazing job pushing through their constant busy days.
Today there was quite a wait which was expected. I was on the express line, i got a text saying to check in with the host which i did and somehow my name still got kicked off the list, someone went right in on my spot and then when i brought it to the host attention he made it seem like i was lying because somehow i ended up at number 12 , i was just looking at the screen for 30 minutes im 100% positive i was number one and i have the text . I did not like the customer service today.
This use to be a great place. My last few orders has been madness, not to mention how long it takes. They never call you anymore when they don't have what you ordered online. Online check in is a joke as you do not get one single benefit from it, your still added to the end of the walk in list. Employees are nice, but there is a lack of them.
Ordered online for pick up. It took them three hours to process it. When I got there, I still had to wait 20 minutes to pick up. When I was speaking with the associate, I was told that four of the items in my order were not eligible for my first time 50% discount. Their website clearly stated that some of the items were not eligible for a discount, but it did not state for these items. I told the clerk that it did not say that on the website and she should notify the manager. She said she would talk to him as soon as she was finished with me. She did apologize for the misunderstanding. However, it was not a misunderstanding. I drove 30 minutes to get there and was very disappointed that I had to cut my order in half because the website was incorrect. They need to look that website over and make sure things are clearly stated. I could have pushed it since it wasn’t stated but didn’t think I’d get anywhere. The clerks were all extremely polite and helpful but just went to use my order and had picked out two different strains of Roll One ground flower. Told her to give me one of each strain but she gave me two of the same strain. Again this is disappointing bc I wanted to compare strains.
Good products, always have to wait a while to be seen even with an express order but that is to be expected with a place this popular. It can also be a bit pricey compared to muv or growhealthy. But again, they have good products.

I’m very pleased with the services provided by the products & service at Trulieve in Riverview. The staff are always friendly & professional people. They’re knowledgeable & always very helpful when I come in w questions. I never feel rushed & they have a lot of good deals. I appreciate that they will let you know if there are sales or discounts on my medication. I wish I knew all of their names they all deserve recognition for going above and beyond what their duties are. They even remember your name when you come in & offer a bottle of water. Best place to go. Much larger than Brandon location and faster also will allow visitors in back with an I.D. not at the Brandon location. Riverview is much more convenient for me I like both locations but Riverview is the best. Thanks everyone there for everything you do. See you all next time.:)

She was sweet, we cracked joke and she went above and beyond to assist me with a mistake on my order. She embodies what it means to be a excellent member of customer service.
I love this dispensary. I see some people complaining about wait times. What I say to that is pick a better time to go. I go when I know it’s not busy (try 4:20). Online ordering probably needs a makeover. They probably need staff that is dedicated solely to online orders during high volume times because you definitely cannot rely on online orders to be placed the same day. But avoiding that this place is always well stocked with good products.
I love Trulieve all together but this location is most definitely the best! The staff is amazing! Patrick took care of me today and I’m extremely satisfied with his service. But no matter who it is I am always so satisfied with my experience. I feel like I am welcome there every time I go and regardless of how busy it gets they always seem to remember who I am and exactly how to tend to my needs. This is the best of the best right here.

Computers are always down...Usually a long wait...The system lets you place an order even if the product is not available...The Customer service number you are given on the website has no clue what is actually going on at an individual store or how much product they have...The bottom line is they have great product but is it really worth the hassle???This never happens to me at MUV.

They wouldn't honor sale prices!Order was placed at 8am & I never received a Confirmation Email, so after 8 hours (4pm) I went there,The Clerk (who was pleasant) said the sale ended at 1pm. He did check with the Manager.P.S. I just received the Confirmation Email at 5pm, 9 hours after ordering.I was always treated well at the Brandon location, skip Riverview.

Their is no trulieve false advertisementUpdate- it’s open now but the wait time is horrible!!!! Said 20 min it’s been 35 an I’m still waiting pick up orders are just walking in an being seen before everyone who’s been waiting an even longer than I’ve waited it’s a little ridiculous!! I may have to stick to Brandon though this is closer to home!!

First visit here, will say you have to enter the parking lot behind behind the store front, not the road in front of the shop! Dawna was awesome and informative! Good discounts!
