Flower & Flame, a minority- and women-owned adult-use dispensary, is setting up shop in Blackwood.
The storefront is scheduled to open March 29 at 601 College Drive in a former TD Bank branch. Flower & Flame aims to provide high-quality, cost-effective products as well as a knowledgeable staff who can serve both first-time and experienced cannabis consumers.
CEO Krystal Boodram-Wing commented, “Walking into a dispensary for the first time can be daunting if the products are unfamiliar to you. We want every person who comes through our doors to feel welcome and comfortable. We encourage our customers to engage with our consultants, ask questions and explore which products may be right for them.”
Changing the narrative
When asked by NJBIZ what prompted the Wings to launch their own dispensary, Boodram-Wing said, “My husband, Josh, has been lucky enough to have worked in the cannabis industry and has seen firsthand how responsible cannabis use can greatly improve the lives of individuals. I’m a former educator so education is incredibly important to me. We wanted to change the narrative around cannabis consumption.
