I love shopping at Sunburn Cannabis in Mandarin. Syd, Kay, and Lauren are always super friendly and helpful to customers! Overall, the whole team is awesome. They’re very informative, and will get you in and out of the store quickly. The dispensary has great strains to choose from across their menus. I really like their pre-rolls and vapes! The choka cola and butter scotch are my personal favorites. Their point system is good too! You can always order online to make your experience faster and easier. I highly recommend shopping here!
The only dispensary in the city I go to; great products and the entire team is spectacular! Daniel and Tommy are such great people to see when I come in, and they always make me feel welcome, ready to chat for a few while they get my order set up. Best dispensary and location right here.
I came by to get a little dabbie dab and Kay was so nice. I got some dabs I just buy things to buy things and she was telling me info like actual info about it. Really appreciate people like that. Besides the nice people I always get really good weed and concentrates from sunburn ❤️❤️

Kay is a joy! Her knowledge is literally unparalleled, and I’ve found all the other bud tenders to be equally wonderful. They open the door for you, help you at the kiosk and are able to answer any question I’ve got. I drive 45 minutes to go specifically to this location bc the quality of smoke and the ambiance is unmatched. 10/10 highly recommend
I have been a frequent shopper there for almost a year. Today's my last day shopping with them. They made me feel absolutely awful and angry about how they treated me today. All because the guy was lazy and didn't want to put in any effort to his job, their card reader didn't work. He looks at me with a blank face. What do you want me to do about it? Although the guy didn't want to do anything about it. I asked him if he could use a different register. He refused to do it. It was too difficult for him. Their ATM didn't work either. I walked outside to use a different ATM. When I returned in less than two minutes, they had no problems at all. No apology for the inconvenience. No, Acknowledgement whatsoever. It’s NOT my responsibility to make your POS work correctly for you or to train your staff to deliver proper customer service, because when I asked the manager for his assistance, he was just as inept. Maybe it's a training store, and they're all new —I don't know. Beware when they have issues —they will. They’re not going to have any idea how to fix it. They will expect you to fix it for them.
Had a great experience here with the best budtender I’ve ever spoke to in my life has a lot of knowledge and power and will speak with you about anything and has a great soul don’t want to drop the name of course for respect but they know who they are and best weed ever just copped the new purple cheesecake and it’s a great strain when you want to relax and chill just right. Just better places to shop. Deals arent great all the times on shitty product and staff isn’t super helpful at all. Rewards system isn’t good at all because thee is always a crappy sale so can’t ever use it so basically it’s useless. You have to click like three boxes to find out the not eveyone are new clueless smokers and care about more than just the thc% which it’s a hassle trying to order and click off the screen multiple time and scroll to find them. Flower has been super leafy and dry and harsh burning just 💩 all around. Only store is this one that seems to operate differently then all other sunburns and don’t care honestly that they do or that it negatively effects the patients. Do better. Many many better options in town.
I’ve visited a lot of dispensaries and this particular location is terrible. Rude staff. Will lie to your face. Better off taking your money to literally any other dispensary.Update: felt the need to add this screenshot to my review and clarify why the people here at the Mandarin location are so terrible. Typically, when I place an order it’s held for up to 48 hours before being returned at EVERY OTHER SUNBURN IN FLORIDA. Apparently, the mandarin location operates differently, because they returned my order and refused to honor it when I arrived 15 minutes later than I had scheduled my pickup.I also want to make it clear that a majority of my money is spent with Sunburn. My experience has been nothing short of exemplary with literally every other Sunburn location in the state of Florida. Shoutout to St. Pete & 5-Points especially.It’s unfortunate the Mandarin staff treat their customers this way because it’s much closer to me. I don’t mind making the drive to 5 Points, they’ve always been genuinely kind.
Despite going here for the good deals I did not have a good experience in-store the previous two times I went here. On September 6 I found out my account had been deleted maybe because of all their updates and changes so I went to grab an order in-store. On top of taking down the same information from me 3 different times in five minutes they also took forever to take care of the other customers before completing mine and than were so slow and stressful checking me out I almost had an anxiety attack at the counter. I made sure to make a new account before visiting again, hoping for a quick and easy experience like usual before that. However when I went back on September 14th I placed a pick up order and came right after work where there were 5 people ahead of me looking around and still choosing. They didn’t ask me if it was pick up or in-store which I thought was strange. They instead made me wait behind these 5 people who were still choosing. Since they were there already there first I just waited patiently next in line in front of the cash register for several minutes. More people came in but the guy behind the glass took my ID while the others were still looking and put my order at the front. The two cashiers in front of him ignored me when I told them he had already taken my ID and checked out all the people who had come in after me. I said something to the cashier about it but tried not to have another anxiety attack stressing about having to wait three times as long as people who arrived long after I’d already been waiting. The cashiers excuse was she was distracted but part of your job is making sure things are done right and fairly and not only were you not paying attention to me standing directly in front of the counter staring at you for almost 20 minutes you ignored me when I said the man behind the glass had taken my ID and ignored my pick up order sitting there while you scrambled to get all the others who came in after. That’s twice now I’ve gone in and almost had an anxiety attack just from being in this store. Customers should be taken in the order they come in unless pick-up orders are already prepared and can be done fast and the store is not being run that way. I hope improvements are made as I’ve gone to this store for a while and this has only been a recent issue but if I have another negative reaction going in there a 3rd time I need to consider going to a different dispensary from now on. You’re supposed to be giving me medication for my anxiety attacks not triggering them when I try to pick it up. Please make improvements so the employees are as professional and fast as any other dispensary and like this one used to be.Update: In the couple times I have went back since this was posted things have been improved back to usual standards I hope action was taken to ensure it continues to benefit all the people who use this facility. I changed my review to 4 stars to reflect the changes.

Sunburn is really up their game. First time I bought weed from them. It was a year and a half ago and I was not impressed. It was dry and it wasn't good. Well I gave him a second chance here recently and I don't know if they've got new growers or what not but it was 100% different. All the buds were beautifully trimmed not too dry And I also got their top shelf which is the bills reserve. And let me tell you that was some of the prettiest pot I had ever seen. Didn't have much of a smell of taste but the look of it and the kick it has well worth the money. Y'all keep up the good job. I just got petrol station and Bill's reserve black maple that I'm about to try right now
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are very polite and professional. The next day delivery service is another amazing feature that I love. I just had an accident in June which left me paralyzed and the sunburn team has really been there for me. I would recommend this place to any and everyone
Made and confirmed an order online.Got there and waited 45 minutes while watching numerous people that came in after me get served. Then was offered an excuse that they were giving away a good freebie. How is that relevant to the fact that you're serving out of order?? If you're know you're going to be busy, schedule adequately. It's poor management, period!
I only caught the name of one employee, but all three that I interacted with were so kind! The night of 6/28 I came for a pickup order and the energy of the staff made me so glad I made the drive after work! Lauren was great, helped me make changes to my pickup order, and was graceful in quickly fixing the computer system when the rain made it uncooperative. I wish we could tip the employees, they truly go above and beyond!
I’ve been a customer of Sunburn for almost a year. Their product is above all others! Just moved from Jax Beach, so I am now frequenting San Jose location. My only constructive criticism would be they need more inventory and maybe open a shop in Middleburg. Also, As loyal customers, we like the swag, you need T-shirts with your address for San Jose!
I recently traveled from Maryland to Mandarin, Florida, and decided to check out Sunburn Cannabis. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with superb customer service. It didn't even feel like I was in a store, it felt like I was being welcomed by family. Nina, in particular, was super awesome. She made me feel like Florida was my home with her warm and friendly demeanor. Her down to earth nature and exceptional service truly stood out. Because of that, I'll definitely be back. First I want to say the staff is excellent. They’re always nice. They always seem to be in a cheerful good mood and that means a lot to me. I cannot stand a cashier or. I used to have a dispensary. That was my favorite but now sunburn is my favorite Lucky charms I love that one. I can’t say that I have found one that I don’t like yet. Special shout out to William/Bill and the Jacksonville Mandarin he is super sweet. Always has a big smile on his face and he is very pleasant. I do wish that sunburn would allow them to have a tip jar. They deserve it. “Sunburn” Great to far below average. Sunburn has been the best medical cannabis my caretaker and I have found in the Inited States. We go often, employees have been super friendly and quality beyond belief.Unfortunately my caretaker purchased gift cards to celebrate 7 years of fighting stage IV Cancer. Delivery personnel gave us our product, had me sign a state form for delivery then took over 20 minutes (on doorbell cam) only to come back, state that they would not honor the “Sunburn Gift Certificates” and that we would need to visit their store as it was the “employee who issued the gift cards fault”. The delivery employees felt I should not have used any of the medication they dropped off while we were waiting for them to figure out their role and asked for the product back.Bad to worse. We traveled to the Sunburn Mandarin location (over a two hour drive) and spoke to “Sean” who identified himself as a manager. After showing Sean our gift certificates and pointing out what the document stated I was asked to leave the store and told again Sunburn would not honor their gift certificates again. My caretaker spoke to Sean, who asked I come back into the store to apologize to me only to tell me I was at fault for using some of the product his drivers gave me and had me return. When I asked if it was illegal to use my medication Sean asked me to leave the store once again.Zero Leadership, no accountability or customer service! I attempted to contact Sunburn via email and social media with no response. Sunburn does not have an executive in charge of customer experience, culture and training but, with several other national dispensaries that know their business they may look into their executive leadership as a whole.Terrible. Not sure if I will even return for the “credit” on my account as Sunburn needs to get its act together if they want business from people like me.

This was my first time at this location. Placing an order inside was easy and waiting for my order did not take long. I am very pleased with the pricing and Thomas told me about specials that they offer. I will keep my eye out for it. I only purchased a vape cart and love it. 10/6/23 Sunburn has great Rosin and Hash. Eat in the state in my opinion. But the Flower needs allot of work unfortunately. Look at the stems and it’s not even sticky. Keep up the great work on the Rosin and Hash. Please work on your flower. I know I’m getting old because the music is way to loud.9/30/23 My third trip to sunburn. This Time Bill helped me and was excellent. He helped me pick out some new stuff to try. The people are excellent the rosin is Awesome. The flower is not that great. Also not impressed with their smalls. The disposable rosin Pens are some of the best I had. Excellent people and one of the best Rosin Hash concentrates I’ve had in the state.Juan was a great help and very informative of their products. Only thing was the music was a bit loud. This place has the best rosin I have had in the state currently. It’s very clean and tasty. But I am cool starter dabber and I enjoy the terpenes. If you low temp the taste at this place will blow your mind. My new spot for rosin now. Juan even told me I get 30% off my first delivery order. Their pricing system is the more you buy the more you save. But they have bucket sales all the time. I’m so glad someone that works for an unnamed dispensary told me about this place. Great meds and you can shop by terpenes on their order tablet which was cool as hell. I kinda hope this place stays a hidden gem for now.
