I was a little nervous going to a new dispensary but right as I entered an associate Han greeted me with great energy and instantly started assisting me with my questions. Han is extremely knowledgeable in this field. I will most certainly be returning to this location. I also spread the news that Sunnyside dispensary is the place to go! We were not here at the dispensary however they did have the World Championship Egg Roll food trucks outside doing their annual tours around Florida. The egg rolls were custom-made with many different ingredients inside like Mac and cheese with corned beef, also Philly cheese steak egg rolls, also one that sold out was the "Soul Food" egg roll which had BBQ chicken, collard greens with Mac& cheese inside. It sounded very interesting and this is the one I wanted to try but unfortunately didn't get a chance, so I settled on the Philly cheese steak with chicken and corned beef!! The custom lemonade was strawberry 🍓 flavored and laced with fresh strawberries and fresh squeezed 🍋 lemons, all the items were delicious 😋!!

In this day and age of advancements in technology, customer service has gone by the wayside. That is not the case with Sunnyside Medical Cannabis. I visited the North St Petersburg location yesterday, and my wellness advisers, Meg, Kyle, and David, as they are referred to, seemed to go out of their way to inform and educate me about terpenes and how they would benefit my desired goals. They know their product line and deserve a shout-out for their efforts to educate and inform for the best results. The layout of the dispensary is pretty cool, and the displays allow inspection of the product, including its smell—quality bud. I still have a sunny smile on my face! 🙂

So my only complaint if you will , is your new front door system . While I understand it's new , I can see the design and entry way being a problem for those that are disabled. While I'm barely ever in my wheelchair or using crutches, I found opening the door and then navigating the narrow turns of the new would be entry way hard to maneuver thru.But yes, still 5 stars !!!! That's because the staff are very knowledgeable, very passionate, very patient and just seem like all around good people. I've had the pleasure of dealing with mostly Griffin and Kyle. Griffin is kind , helpful and if it's your first time with him, you may get a great discount card.But even if you don't get a discount card, they have the best prices and products. They have great hours of operation. They have great products. They have plenty of parking. I mean , why go anywhere else for your medical marijuana needs. Just saying

I am so glad this location finally opened, yayyyyyyyy!! It's less than 2 miles from my home! This location's set up reminds me of the dispensaries in California and I can see that this place is ready for when cannabis becomes recreational in Florida. There's usually no wait, the staff is fantastic, they have accessories, they're usually opened on holidays, and the best part, they carry California strains!!! Being a Cali native, I will always go to Sunnyside for my medication and YOU should too!!!

Before this dispensary could open, it was licensed by the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU). In the state of Florida, dispensaries are officially referred to as medical marijuana treatment centers (MMTCs).
Sunnyside is vertically integrated, as are the rest of the MMTC’s. Being vertically integrated means they oversee the entire process from seed to sale. Sunnyside grows their own cannabis plants from seed or cuttings, harvests, processes into a variety of products, packages and distributes within their own network.
Product types and availability can vary from store menu to store menu, depending on demand. If Sunnyside in St. Petersburg does not have what you are looking for, there is no legal obligation to stick to a single brand. Your medical marijuana card is universally accepted at any dispensary in Florida.
Purchasing Marijuana Products at Sunnyside
During your first visit, you’ll be required to complete intake forms. This lets the dispensary staff confirm your patient status and see what you were allotted by your medical marijuana doctor.
Upon arrival at this dispensary, you’ll enter a designated waiting area before going into the retail area with staff. The dispensary staff work with you to explain all of the cannabis products available. Budtenders will make recommendations that are based on your doctor’s recommendation.
