The inside of the dispensary is always super clean and well kept. They have awesome accessories as you wait in line to checkout. The staff at the front desk are always super welcoming and friendly. The order fulfillment process is the smoothest and fastest I have ever experienced. At other dispensaries, I used to sit in crowded waiting rooms for sometimes 30 minutes to then get thrown to a staff member who didn’t know anything about what they were giving to me. At Sunnyside, Trey, Laura and Marciel are seriously incredible - the knowledge about the products are next level and they always make me feel like family. The flower, vapes and edibles are all top notch and seem to always be on sale which is a major win. I stopped in here for the first time today. The guy at the reception area was really nice and welcoming. After checking in, I strolled through the palace like entrance into the main area. Off to my right a host of Sunnyside merchandise and then central islands with devices and assorted knickknacks. My questions and purchase were handled professionally and proficiently, while finding the greatest discount available to me at the time of purchase. Trey and marcial were wonderful medtenders they were very knowledgeable we ended up talking and laughing about gelato lineage strains. They are a fantastic company there flower and concentrates are top notch * imo cresco is one of the best extractors* vapes are smooth the flower is trimmed super nice and the flower has always been cured perfectly not to much moisture left in the bud but it’s also not so dry that it just becomes powder. Walking in without an appointment was painless. The receptionist was friendly and she had me in the system ready to go very quickly. Juan and Zach are very friendly and knowledgeable. The helped me quickly and wow what a deal on ground flower even without using my first time discount. Very clean and modern and as a long time heavy India smoker it had a great selection catering to my needs. This time I only grabbed two ground strains for my volcano vape. Great quality and extremely potent. Nothing beats flower, however both strains of ground where very tasty for ground. The texture is fine, perfect for the vape or edibles. Will be back and try the flower and more products.

Finally checked out the Sarasota location and man have I been missing out! The location is huge, comfortable, everyone is super friendly. They have a ton of merchandise, lounge areas to wait or talk with employees, books and cook books, and high quality flower. They even list the terpene % on the flower containers. I'll definitely be back with some of my friends (who are also medical patients). So glad they opened one up here since St Pete was the closest one to me.

Before this dispensary could open, it was licensed by the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU). In the state of Florida, dispensaries are officially referred to as medical marijuana treatment centers (MMTCs).
Sunnyside is vertically integrated, as are the rest of the MMTC’s. Being vertically integrated means they oversee the entire process from seed to sale. Sunnyside grows their own cannabis plants from seed or cuttings, harvests, processes into a variety of products, packages and distributes within their own network.
Product types and availability can vary from store menu to store menu, depending on demand. If Sunnyside in Sarasota does not have what you are looking for, there is no legal obligation to stick to a single brand. Your medical marijuana card is universally accepted at any dispensary in Florida.
Purchasing Marijuana Products at Sunnyside
During your first visit, you’ll be required to complete intake forms. This lets the dispensary staff confirm your patient status and see what you were allotted by your medical marijuana doctor.
Upon arrival at this dispensary, you’ll enter a designated waiting area before going into the retail area with staff. The dispensary staff work with you to explain all of the cannabis products available. Budtenders will make recommendations that are based on your doctor’s recommendation.
Preparation Helps: See what’s available ahead of time. If Sunnyside in Sarasota online menu is available on our site, this is the best way to see the different product options before visiting the dispensary. If enabled, after finding the right products you desire, reserve your order on our e-commerce platform.

Whenever I go to Sunnyside, it's always quiet, cool, and relaxing. Trey, Laura, Jennifer, and Anthony are always funny and immensely helpful. Everyone gives me their personal recommendations and experiences they have with a strain. They're more than patient and explain the effects and / or terpenes of each strain. Sometimes, I'll just tell them what I'm looking for, and they're quick to help!!

I can't say enough about the employees at this location. Jennifer, Laura, and Anthony, along with all the others, are amazing!!! They are extremely knowledgeable and always friendly. The flower here is the freshest in town, in my opinion. Plus, they are always bringing in new strains, so you never get bored with the same options every time. The employees & store are very nice but I bought a few shake quarters & barely got 6 very small king cones out of 1. How does 7 grams give you barely 5? Weight is way too short & bags are hard to open. Will not go back.

I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about this location and the people who work here. The online ordering process is extremely simple and orders are ready fast!! The inside of the dispensary is always super clean and well kept. They have awesome accessories as you wait in line to checkout. The staff at the front desk are always super welcoming and friendly. The order fulfillment process is the smoothest and fastest I have ever experienced. At other dispensaries, I used to sit in crowded waiting rooms for sometimes 30 minutes to then get thrown to a staff member who didn’t know anything about what they were giving to me. At Sunnyside, Trey, Laura and Marciel are seriously incredible - the knowledge about the products are next level and they always make me feel like family. The flower, vapes and edibles are all top notch and seem to always be on sale which is a major win. I am so beyond grateful to have found this epic location and team of people who truly care and want you to have the best experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 11/10

I stopped in here for the first time today. The guy at the reception area was really nice and welcoming. After checking in, I strolled through the palace like entrance into the main area. Off to my right a host of Sunnyside merchandise and then central islands with devices and assorted knickknacks. I was pleasantly greeted by Sarah and Laura adorned in festive garb with smiles on their faces. My questions and purchase were handled professionally and proficiently, while finding the greatest discount available to me at the time of purchase. I was beyond pleased with my experience thus far, only box left to check before earning five stars was product. The review lets you know how that went.

Visiting sunny side is always a good time. I work for another dispensary. Was super excited too see Cresco concentrates in Florida. Trey and marcial were wonderful medtenders they were very knowledgeable we ended up talking and laughing about gelato lineage strains. They are a fantastic company there flower and concentrates are top notch * imo cresco is one of the best extractors* vapes are smooth the flower is trimmed super nice and the flower has always been cured perfectly not to much moisture left in the bud but it’s also not so dry that it just becomes powder. I will be back 😺

Walking in without an appointment was painless. The receptionist was friendly and she had me in the system ready to go very quickly. Juan and Zach are very friendly and knowledgeable. The helped me quickly and wow what a deal on ground flower even without using my first time discount. Very clean and modern and as a long time heavy India smoker it had a great selection catering to my needs. This time I only grabbed two ground strains for my volcano vape. Great quality and extremely potent. Nothing beats flower, however both strains of ground where very tasty for ground. The texture is fine, perfect for the vape or edibles. Will be back and try the flower and more products.

Most recently Marcial helped me with shopping and was not only professional, he was sincere and patient with explaining information about the product I chose. They also have great discounts that makes the purchase feel worth it. Zach gave me the tour while simultaneously showing me up to the minute menu items and receiving my order to the point of meeting Trey who had promptly received the fulfilled order & dispensed. Finally checked out the Sarasota location and man have I been missing out! The location is huge, comfortable, everyone is super friendly. They have a ton of merchandise, lounge areas to wait or talk with employees, books and cook books, and high quality flower. They even list the terpene % on the flower containers. I'll definitely be back with some of my friends (who are also medical patients). So glad they opened one up here since St Pete was the closest one to me.

I learned about this dispensary from my doctor not long ago. I hadn't realized that I had a dispensary literally less than a mile away from me. So I decided that I would stop by one day, I was not disappointed with the visit. The pricing, products, staff, and facility was beyond great. My full experience was the best out of all the dispensaries I've visited both in Sarasota and manatee counties. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking them out.

The facility was large and open feeling. The staff was knowledgeable about strain genetics and gave great recommendations. The check out was easy. My first purchase was a great deal and the Flower is great. They carry the One Plant cannabis line, which I have had before and it is outstanding as a brand. They have a myriad of other methods of use and the store is extremely upscale, with plenty of parking. Some REALLY GREAT DEALS going on, I suggest you go to the Sunnyside Site and sign up, as there are other benefits in being registered!!!Couldn’t have had a nicer morning experience!!!Grateful Dave

The Wellness Advisors are extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Niko and his staff are off to a tremendous start and this will now be my store of choice.
