WORST TRULIEVE IN FL. like many others have mentioned in their reviews, customer service at this Sanford location doesn’t exist. AMBER is the WORST so unfriendly and such a drag to be around. She ruins the whole vibe of going to the dispensary. She won’t let two people who are together back at once. Even though we have our medical cards but ok fine…but to sit there and flirt calling sweetie and honey to every guy is a joke then treating the women poorly is wild. Last time I went in there and she had to adjust a price and of course she was huffing and puffing about having to do her job. Their machines are garbage and always has errors when paying. They make you use the ATM bc they are too lazy to check you out on a different computer.They make you jump through hoops to just pick up some flower. Then they give attitude the whole time.The other worst employee is the OLDER LADY w/GREY HAIR…don’t know her name but she’s also very unfriendly and rushing you constantly. I’m looking at product to add to my order from the bins and she either rushing every time to check out or she quickly says you have to spend $30 to get the bin items but if she sees my order right in front of her…it’s always above $30. I rather drive farther to go to a different location. This location is going downhill quickly which is a shame bc they just opened a few years ago. TIME TO HIRE NEW FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO GREET YOU WHEN THEY SEE YOU AND ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THE PRODUCTS AND WONT RUSH YOU DURING CHECK OUT PROCESS.
Love this location. Been visiting 2-3 times a week since they opened a few years ago. Fast friendly service as always from everyone. If you’re getting rude treatment it’s because you’re being rude. I see the way the employees are treated here by a lot of customers and it takes a toll on people. PSA!!! Key is to place your orders online and check in prior to walking in. If everyone did this the process would be much smoother. The rewards program is the best! And to the person giving Lindsey a hard time (ANGELA) - she calls everyone baby, it’s her personality and everyone appreciates it BUT YOU. She doesn’t want your man. Please stay home.
The rewards program is a joke. I signed up 5 months ago and have spent 500 dollars plus on some purchases and trulieve says I didn't enroll until my last purchase. The IT team needs to be changed out with competent employees. Due to the user interface that trulieve uses I have been robbed of over 1000 points. Do not count on the rewards program it is a scam.
Tell me why the cashier called my husband baby and sweetie multiple times while I waited in the waiting room? Apparently they are no longer accepting guests, so I was forced to sit down and wait for my husband while I listened to the clerk flirt with him. Unacceptable behavior, and I definitely will go elsewhere next time.
Terrible experience. I've been going to Trulieve all year and not only did the girl have an unfriendly attitude, but she started making up new trulieve rules that Ive NEVER BEEN TOLD. NOT TO MENTION she was in the back with 3 ppl in the waiting area and only one customer being served by the only ONE person behind the counter. She strolls finally from the back and that's the customer service you present?!TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Change up your staff trulieve and try reading these reviews. My visit definitely displayed every thing every negative review here says!
I have been consistently shopping at this trulieve location well over a year now and the staff is amazing!Amber the manager she always makes sure I get the best deals.Chase the bud tender has a ton of cannabis knowledge and every single one of his recommendations are top tier.Grey another manager has the most kind, welcoming energy.Almost every employee who works here takes pride in cannabis & customer service. If I ever have a bad experience with products they are always willing to fix it. There is a lot of dispensaries in this area but this trulieve in particular is my favorite place to go.
Used to really enjoy this place when it came around. Things have just gone downhill over a few months. Quality control and staffing issues. Been using trulieve exclusively since getting my card, but corporate and the store seem to have no empathy for a customer when having an issues, so guess it's time to venture out to another.
First time here and all I can say is wow. Customer service and product knowledge is on point. I loved seeing the staff greet their repeat customers by first name. They have a fan for life in me. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT FIRST!
I love this location so much that I had to leave a review. The customer service here at the Sanford location is top tier. From the way they greet you, to the way they treat you. Cin and Grey and the rest of the staff are just AWESOME. I leave out of there with a smile on my face before I even get to the house to really get my smile on lol. If I could give 0 stars I would, the front desk lady was very nice and she always is, but the lady with the piercings all over and black short hair (didn’t catch her name) was inappropriate in thinking I would chime in on her weird racial comments about the Hispanic couple standing next me. I seriously am confused as to why she’s still working there when she has such a bad condescending attitude every time I’ve been in there.
The service at the Sanford Trulieve location is always great. I have yet to meet a consultant who hasn’t been kind and welcoming, the store always has what I’m looking for, and the wait times are always super low. It’s the consultants though that keep me coming back to this spot. They all deserve acknowledgment for how genuinely friendly and pleasant they are and how well they do. I drive out of my way to this spot for y’all, thank you for being amazing!!!!

Early days were a mess, but this is the best store in the area for customer service and general vibes. Just seems that they're overlooked on a lot of drops compared to Longwood. The only downside to this store is the traffic that locals are very aware of at rush hours. You can spend 15 minutes getting from Rhinehart to Hickman around lunch or 5 PM 😂
From the moment I was greeted to the moment I left the store with my purchase I was treated as if I mattered to the staff. They were extremely helpful, patiently answering all of my newbie questions. Good product recommendations. Friendly smiles. I need look no further for a good dispensary. I found it today.
This was my first time at this location, and the customer service was excellent. Cynthia took her time explaining everything to me so I didn’t feel rushed. She definitely made my experience, and I will be coming back.
This place was very nice and the staff were incredibly helpful.I showed up with my new “card” (basically an email with a patient number at this point) and was greeted immediately.The manager Lindsay was helpful and introduced me to the new reception person in training (sorry I missed your name) who was very polite and friendly.I waited with a few other customers for just a few short moments and then was called back where I was greeted by Cin.She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products and helped me make decisions on what to purchase.She even recommended starting a journal of how the different products helped me and what my experience was using them.I would recommend this location to any newbies like myself.

The attentive gentleman was preceded by a welcoming smile and kind spirited young lady with a "Black Tuna pin. Both were extremely helpful and made me feel at ease. As this is my first visit to Trulieve. Most of the people I grew up with went to prison for Weed. My brother was kicked out the AirForce for the same reason. It is nerve racking to walk into a place such as this. And drive away wondering if I will be arrested.The gentleman took the time to explain to me all that was available and he clued me in on the 4/20 celebration.I wish all my brothers and sisters who stood the watch, could have access to this effective way to deal with PTSD.Thanks again to the staff at Sanford.Ask management to make Black Tuna pins available to the public. Pins are cool and are kind of an insider club.🌻
It’s now my favorite go to dispensary. Being an experienced cannabis user. I like the the potency of flower and certificate of analysis to get the best match of effects to my needs. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and have made great recommendations.The layout of the store is comfortable without the maximum security feel of some other dispensaries.

I’m a long time customer of Trulieve - typically, they provide an overall good experience.Lindsey, however, goes above and beyond any other location manager I’ve come in contact with. From her positive energy, to her knowledge on product, she is by far my go-to girl.The entire staff is nothing but friendly, helpful, and all around fantastic. So they deserve a mention, as well.Sanford Trulieve is hands down my favorite of all the locations. 💚💚💚
The best part about this trulieve is the staff. Yeah, the meds are great - but the staff takes the cake. They need some help though! A few more staff members would make this location flawless.
Usually less than 15 min wait time, faster than other Trulieve locations. Everyone always nice and knowledgeable. Products are good, decent prices and good sales!
New location and the staff is great and much less busy than orange city.. for now. They are way understaffed tho so you kinda loose the effectiveness of a short line when you only have one budtender doing it all in the back. Choose your poison i reckon!
Close to me, new location and amazing employees. However do to internal malfunctions this store is super under staffed which causes its popularity to overkill the demand so it’s always a dreadful visit until we’re greeted with kindness, knowledge and sympathy for the malfunction of delayed time and waiting windows that none of us can control.To whom this may concern please take into consideration of reviewing payrolls and new employees to the overhead to exceed customer expectation and satisfaction as the Trulieve brand promises and promotes. Very nice store and the two or three people working there are alway very nice, but damn they need more helpers there!! Products have been good also, but the wait 🤨.
Might seem convenient. But do not go here. Your patients will be tried to the limit. Only one person working multiple times I’ve been there. Waste of time which nobody has to spare.
I’d rate this place 0 stars if I could. But I have to spread the word of how god awful of a store this is. Run this place more like Orange City and maybe your store won’t be so dead all the time.They handle 1 customer here at a time. And I placed an online order. Walk-Ins would go in front of me and I was the only person in the 45 minute wait that actually DID place an online order.At least when I place it in Orange City they send me a text that I’m ready and to click on the link to get on the queue for the line, 2.5 hours after placing the order I decided just to show up, can’t count on anything with this place.My order should have been free for the amount of standing I had to do here, uncomfortable chairs in lobby for a bigger guy such as myself. So long, Sanford, can’t wait to never come here again. 🫡
