Ithaca’s Aspire is city’s new cannabis store – Ithaca Journal

The “coming soon signs” have been stripped off a recently renovated building at 205 Fulton Street in Ithaca, now replaced the name Aspire, the second licensed marijuana dispensary in the city.

The not-for-profit CWS Holdings I, LLC owns the cannabis shop, which officially opened on March 25. It is the second licensed dispensary to hit Ithaca’s streets, following William Jane, a dispensary that opened its doors on the commons in early 2023, owned by William Durham of Binghamton.

“We are trying to focus on Ithaca Brands and Tompkins County in general. It just goes back to purchase with a purpose, your money is staying here,” Store Manager Angela Bishop said Wednesday.

Products include edibles, pills, flowers and cannabis-vaporizer cartridges – also known as dab carts, weed carts, or oil carts.

Local product and a personal touch

Ithaca Organics Cannabis Co. is offering up The Spice! and Magic Melon among other popular strains, as well as its acclaimed gummies.

“Zizzle, they are grown here in Ithaca although they are packaged closer to New York City .. and then Ithaca Cultivated is a family-owned business, I’ve personally tried all of their flower, and we’re planning to carry half (ounces) in a few other varieties, they hit very nice,”
